Loving our neighbors in tangible ways is a vital part of Living Spring’s DNA. We seek the peace of the city (Jer 29:7) and neighborhood we are located in! We are blessed to participate in God’s kingdom both locally and globally. See below for some of the ways we love our neighbors.
Each year Living Spring commits to supplying our city's most marginalized students with new backpacks filled with school supplies. This past year (2021) we provided over 320 backpacks to 18 Garden Grove Schools, Project Access, and Voice of Refugees.
We love to provide gifts and Christmas spirit to the most marginalized families in Garden Grove each year. New volunteers and donors are always welcome.
We seek to provide dry goods and fresh produce on the first and third Thursday of every month starting at 4pm. *the distribution is on hold for now, keep checking back for updates.
We love getting to know our neighbors at the Malabar apartment complex next door and supporting their resident services coordinator through facilitating toiletry drives, diaper drives, Thanksgiving meal help, backpacks, Christmas gifts, seasonal events, family support, and more!
Empowering Lives International - Poverty, due to lack of skills, and in many cases fueled by addiction to alcohol, grabs hold of a home and can turn parents into depressed tyrants and children into neglected servants only good for fetching water or firewood. Fueled by your partnership, God is bringing new hope to families in such a way that even government officials are taking notice and commenting, “We have never seen a program bring such dramatic change to our villages.”
God has been pointing the way and opening doors to expand a Spirit-led movement that is empowering lives in villages throughout East Africa. HOPE is igniting!
Eden Reforestation - Plant trees, save lives. Eden aims to reduce extreme poverty and restore healthy forests by employing local people to plant millions of trees every year.
Heavenly Treasures - Since 1998, heavenly treasures has assisted refugees, single mothers, widows, the physically disabled, women & children rescued from human trafficking, orphans, the disenfranchised, and many others. Lives around the world are affected each day through the sale of handicrafts. Each product made reflects the heart and soul of one or more of our artisans around the world. Assistance is provided to artisans in the areas of Business Development, International Marketing, Leadership Training, Product Development and Spiritual Guidance. We desire to see people fed physically, spiritually & emotionally.
International Childcare Ministries - We dream of a world where every child is loved, safe and developing their God-given potential. Partnering with the global Free Methodist Church, we advocate for the spiritual, physical, cognitive and social development of children.
